Who we are

This website is operated by Pure Luxe Cleaning ("we", "us", "our"), a premium interior cleaning service based in Newport (Malpas), South Wales, serving Newport, Cwmbran, Cardiff, Bristol and the surrounding areas. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data.

What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us. When you request a quote or get in touch, that may include:

• Your name
• Your phone number and/or email address
• Any details you share about your property and the cleaning you need

We do not knowingly collect any special-category data, and we don't ask for payment details through this website.

How we use it

We use your details solely to:

• Reply to your enquiry and prepare a no-obligation quote
• Arrange and carry out the cleaning you've asked for
• Keep in touch with you about your booking

Our lawful basis for this is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services. We do not use your details for marketing without your consent, and we never sell your data.

Who we share it with

We keep your data to ourselves. We only use trusted service providers to run this website and receive your enquiries:

• Netlify hosts this website and processes the contact form so your enquiry reaches our inbox.
• Microsoft provides the Clarity analytics service described under “Cookies & analytics” below. It only runs if you accept analytics cookies.
• SH Studios Digital Ltd built this website and looks after it for us. They act only on our instructions, as our processor, and may see enquiries while keeping the form working.

We may also disclose information if we're legally required to. Otherwise, your details stay with Pure Luxe Cleaning.

Cookies & analytics

We use Microsoft Clarity, a website-analytics service, to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are viewed, where people click and scroll, and recordings of how each page is used) so we can keep improving it. Clarity only loads if you click Accept on the cookie bar, and our lawful basis for it is your consent. Until you accept, or if you click Reject, nothing from Clarity or Microsoft runs on this site.

If you accept, Clarity sets two analytics cookies on this site, named “_clck” and “_clsk”, which link your page views and visits together. Microsoft may also set its own cookies on its Clarity and Bing domains (such as “MUID”, “CLID”, “MR”, “SM” and “ANONCHK”). This information is processed for us by Microsoft. You can read how Microsoft handles it in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

You can change your mind at any time: use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page to bring the cookie bar back, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings. If you withdraw your consent, Clarity stops and its two cookies are removed from this site. Rejecting, or withdrawing later, changes nothing else: you can still browse every page, call us, message us on WhatsApp and ask for a quote.

We also count page views through a simple counter run by SH Studios, who look after this website. It records the page, the site you came from and whether the screen is a phone or a desktop. It also records when someone taps to call, taps WhatsApp, taps the email address or sends the quote form, so we can see which ways of getting in touch people use. It sets no cookies and stores nothing at all on your device.

We don’t use any advertising cookies. We remember your cookie choice on your device (in your browser’s local storage) so the bar doesn’t keep asking. It holds nothing else and is never sent to us.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and customer details only for as long as we need them to provide our service and meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which they're securely deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these, just email info@pureluxecleaning.uk and we'll put it right.

If you're ever unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can contact the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
